Great

Hey zero,
It's a beautiful piece, no doubt about it! I'm not nearly as good as you are but I just want to say a few things:
Every now and then the rhythm gets a little lost and the speed varies. Specially near the end.
And maybe (I don't know how you record) you can use another piano sound, this one sounds just a little cheap. I myself use a Yamaha CP33 Stagepiano and connect it to my laptop with Reason 4's Real Piano's. I just love the sound of it.
Same for the strings. Another sound can do the trick better.
Well that's it really...
Greets, Chris

Thanks first of all :)

Piano sounding cheap? well it's probably the fact I use MIDI and a free soundfont :S

sry, I can't really afford anything that isn't free.. yet ;)

As for the strings, yeah they are cheap as well xD
But i'm just glad you liked the tune and the main problems are a matter of money (and practice gettin those strings how I want them! ;D)

thanks again

Beautiful

Very nice play of sounds and melodies! It fits the title perfect. I see a nice little fantasy land, something like The Shire, life is good. Always perfect weather and no worries. And there she is... walking down a nice little paved road next to a lovely lake! (oke... maybe I got carried away too much :P) But you get the point... I like it!

hmm...

It's rather pretty. The beginning is a little too long, but when the rest starts it really gets there. I love the sound in the background, the sort of scratching sound like an old tape recorder. The drums are a bit too loud for my taste.

Nice

Very nice piece, but there are two things I like to say:
The piano sounds just awfull, maybe you can get another sample?
(I've got Reason's Real Piano's, very nice)
And maybe you can put a bit more feeling in it, it sounds a bit to robot like
if you know what I mean.
Other than that, Great!!

Hey, yeah i get tons of complaints about that. I have sibelius and crescendos and ect. arent too well played on that. The piano sounds does suck, i know, so i've been researching other possibilities, too. Thanks for the compliments though =D

The chords sound really childish to me... Very simple.... try to make it more interesting...

Sexydude01 responds:

alright. i will try to make the chords less childish, and more interesting. thanks for the comment.

Awesome!!

Very cool, it make me think of Amadou & Marian (dunno if you know em, other wise you should look em up!) It was a bit too long and repetitive for a loop, but I love the sound!! 9/10 5/5

SecretsOfSounds responds:

Thx Man :D...I Dont Know Who Amadou & Marian Is But Ill Be Sure To Look Them Up...Might Give Me Ideas lol

Nice

I like it, nice sounds, but it's too empty. You switch from sound to sound... You should have let em collaborated with each other. And a nice Bossanova beat under it! (oh and the end just sucks big time :P)

It sounds too simple... too repetitive. And occasionally you've got a slight hickup in your rhythm, like in the snare fill...

B-E-A-utiful

Really nice. Nice calming, the heartbeat in the background is just perfect!
There's only one small thing I heard: around 0:38 there's a slight hick up in
the guitar play. Nice female voice.

curriemaster responds:

Thanks very much for the review, glad you liked it. Im not sure which part youre talking about at 0:38 but ill have a listen and try and fix it if possible.

I did just update the song as well without the first "je t'aime" as it somehow was in the wrong place. Technology, eh?

Again the review is much appreciate, thanks!
