oke
What I think you should do with this song is getting a piano and doing a huge piano solo on top of the excisting. This will make a nice contrast i think.
Cheers

Not such a bad idea. Thanks for the review

Nice
I like it, but it really misses some bass. I use reason myself as well. I really like the instrument u used though! It has a nice flow, but you could've added some more instruments, like I said, specially a bass.

calming
Nice atmosphere, but I feel like its missing something. I don't like the "choir" near the ending. It sounds more like a big intro then a real song. I beleive it should build up to something, some more percussion and maybe a little more complicated melody. But then again, it's nice and calm, and good the way it is.
All in all, nicely done!

I was going to add more toward the end of the song and there actually was more (but I took it out.) The reason for this is simple, the song was made for a game originally so before, when I had a lot of stuff going on toward the end, it made the transition/loop harsh so I had to keep it relatively minimal BUT having said that, there may be a more definite version in the future. There's nothing stopping me from revisiting this now is there?
nice!
Nice tune! Laid back beat. I like it. The only thing is, it sounds to far in the back. Its to muted. And there are alot of glitches in the sound, where the sound just "cracks". You made it sound like a live recording, although if the drums are live you got a crappy drumset, or atleast get some new symbals :P Other then that it has a nice flow, the screaming in with the singing isnt really my thing, but it worked. Nice track!

Thanks Chris, the drums are just a program so they aren't too good and this was more of an experiment of sounds with my new Digitech Whammy 4 pedal.
Thanks for the review
chill and loungy
Awesome track! Normaly not into D&B, but this is far more than just the normal D&B! It has a smooth ambient beginning with some nice smoothing chords! The beat is just nice, not really my taste like i said, but it works with the song! But then for the sax, its absolutly awesome!! It gives it a jazzy vibe and from ambient it goes on to lounge music. Definetly wanna get the 320 kbs version of this!
I'm more of a vintage kind of musician, love my piano, rhodes and bass. But this is something great to hear besides all the rest! Remindes me a little to St Germain (about the best lounge artist alive :P)
Well thats about it... no bad things to say... just a matter of personal taste!
Great song!

Thank you ChrisisD. While I don't listen to a whole lot of Jazz and Funk I have a great respect for all that it has offered. A lot of my recent tunes are better categorized under the genre "Liquid Funk" which incorporates many jazzy, funky themes. It's awesome to see that those who don't particularly listen to liquid find some enjoyment in our tunes.
Thank you again ChrisisD, I'll let you know when we've got the final HQ version done.
hmm
It has a nice beat, the synths sound cool and indeed it reminds me a bit to Daft Punk. The thing is I really miss a melody. Just grab a sick lead synth and put in a melody. I think that when you've done that it'll be done. Now it just seems like its unfinished.

PS. R4R!! :D
For the first time:
This is not too bad ;-) It sounds way to "lovely" for techno. The bass can get turned up like 20 times and it sounds in the distance. Just use way more high and low on your EQ! The melody is pretty good though!
Keep it up!

awesome
Really nice! It's a laid back basis, nice accoustic guitar and some awesome solo's over it! Really nice. I really enjoyed listening to this! Special.
And indeed, the title is really cool :P

Hiya Chris, thanks a lot for the review mate! Considering that BloodFest did most of the solo guitar parts, it's not surprising that it's awesome, huh? :D
Anyways, thanks a lot for the review!
