firstly

about the music: It's pretty good, not very special, sometimes it feels the voice sample is just a little of track, specially in the middle of the song. The horns are nice though! The bass can be a little louder for my taste.
Secondly about your text: It's cool you "made" it and stuff... but this isn't a site for showing off your skillz... There are other far better sites to do such things! This is more like a fun way to show your songs to the crowd... And it's nice to hear what people think about your songs... But I don't really like it how you position yourself above everybody else on this site...

Re-read. It isn't about being better than everyone on the site, there are plenty of talented musicians, producers, and artists here. If you read it correctly, this is for the little group of haters that plagues the Hip-hop portal with it's idiocy. I am not better than everyone, just them. Thanks for the review, appreciate you being one of the few that takes the time.

As for the comments: that bass is as loud as it's going to get, man. I pushed it through compression twice, one on it's channel and a final compression level for the overall track. Put that in a deck with some 12's or 15's and it'll cause your lung to collapse. Trust me.

Pretty nice

Nice melodies, but it sounds very mechanical. And the piano sound is pretty bad... I suggest you give it more feeling and use another piano sample. Other than that its really nice!

yeah, i used a really simple plugin for this one and I have not mastered it yet, so come back for the mastered and more improved version soon! as it said on the top, this is NOT the finished version, the better one will come soon!

It sounds pretty good!! it does need a decent bass though!! Maybe you could use a heavy synth... maybe a 8bit and use a 3 or 4 tone appegiator! I'm curious for the result!

yeah... ehm...

Ehm... it's very abstract... Good job doing that I guess... But if you wanted to make a song, you failed in my opinion. It misses nearly everything that makes a song into a song, like a flow throughout the song. A returning melody... And the samples u use are pretty crappy. Well thats my opinion. Hope you can do something with it.

I've also noticed that absense of continuity, of flow. I'm going to try and work on that.

I didn't use any samples, however. Every note was composed by myself, just using the mentioned instruments. If you find it crappy, then that means you find my composing crappy. Which is okay, everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

Anyway, your review's learnt me that some continuity would be welcome. Thanks, I'll keep it in mind.

Only one part that sucks pretty bad: The drums...
Instead of making it funky it sounds more like
a polka... I hope thats not what you meant???
Just get a nice groovy drum in there and its even
better!! The sounds are awesome and work together
very good... but....... the ending should be way better.
Make it nice... not like your computer just exploded...
I think if you just fix those two things you have an
awesome song!!

Did you play and get all of this?? Even the Piano and the strings?? cause it sounds like a sample or some kind... Nice flow though. A little repetitive, but cool!

Bass

The Bass issn't that good :P I've got a 7.1 surround logitech set... I also tried with my Sennheiser Uber headphones... The only thing that comes through is the base drum.
The rest though, very good! Nice sound and it works together just perfect! It gets a little repetitive though, or it should have some rap in it... or a solo instrument that takes a HUGE FREAKING solo. The ending is very nice!
Keep it up!!

Just Right

Pretty damn cool ending! The drums didn't sound to good... they could've been left behind... But what I don't get... why do you do all this effort to make a near exact copy of a song? The only thing different is the ending... Why don't you just be that little bit more creative and come up with something yourself? Well done though! The sounds are just right.

I hardly put any effort into it. The ending is exactly the same only with different instruments. I played it because I like it.
Also I write loads and loads of my own music but I don't post any of it on the internet.

The beginning

The beginning is very cool! Too bad the synth just kills the vibe... Maybe it doesnt do that when you let the piano play the whole song. Otherwise i'd say... take the intro and make it into something else! Dunno, maybe a sort of classical themed song...
